KeriCure’s Advanced Shield® Wound Barrier with silver is designed to address the skin and wound care needs of your patients.  Advanced Shield forms a protective, elastic polymer film that permits oxygen to pass through to the tissue below, while protecting against infection. KeriCure’s Advanced Shield is intended for use after medical procedures requiring superior protection against infection, breathability, and moisture retention.

  • Purified water, ethanol, polyacrylate polymer and silver hydrosol (24 ppm).

  • Shake well before use. Pump 2-3x to prime.

    Flush or irrigate wound prior to use.

    Firmly press trigger to apply mist spray enough times to fully cover area.

    Dab skin around treatment area to remove excess liquid. Allow 2 to 3 minutes for a clear, thin film to set.

    Wipe nozzle with clean material after use to remove buildup. If clog forms, scrape nozzle surface to remove polymer plug then continue spraying.

    If needed, cover area with secondary bandage to protect area from physical damage. Product is intended for use for up to 30 days, with reapplication recommended every 24 to 72 hours. No need to remove dressing before reapplication. Dressing will slough off naturally as wound heals.
